My old neighborhood across from you was also evacuated. Looks like they stopped it before it got that far. This whole canyon is crazy dry this year. Hopefully this will be the last scare.

It had to be, fires started at three different places on the 108, 24 hours after the fire started off of Parrots Ferry, seemed super suspicious. Driving by the burn area yesterday was such a bummer. I have family who've lost homes too. Glad yours was spared.

 

Thanks, all you guys are great! During times like these you find out what great friends you have. It was mind blowing how many people reached out to us to offer a place to stay or in my case some clothes since all I had was my dirty work clothes on. Very much appreciate all the love.

You know, there's a lot of good places for families to camp close to home in the Bay Area.

Coyote Hills is not one of them.

 

Not likely at a reservable campground, so that leaves 1st come 1st serve or dispersed. Both of those options are going to fill up fast, like on Thursday or Friday.
