    5.29 just for bigger tires is overkill IMO.
    5.29 is usually for bigger tires, skids, sliders, bumpers etc.

    Actually these things should have been geared this way from the factory. if you look at the final gear ratio in the manual transmission trucks and their final drive ratio it puts them basically the same as the automatic with the 529s. A manuals 6 gear is the same as our 5th gear. then on top of that we even have a more overdrive gear with 6. Whether I'm hauling a trailer or have a lot of weight in the truck or if it's completely empty the truck just drives better all around.
