Wheel locks for steel wheels

Hi, There has been a rash of wheel thefts in my area. Interestingly, a few of my coworkers Have mentioned that they heard some steel is getting stolen just for the tires! Will the factory locks work with my 16" steelies?

A wheel lock is not specific to the type or make of wheel? As long as it's the right size for your studs then it should work. Having said that, a wheel lock does little to stop wheel theft. They are super easy to defeat. It might slow them down a few seconds but it won't stop them if they are seasoned professionals.

 

This isn’t true. You have to get the right lug nut for the wheel, as the wheels have different lug seats.
