"New Member" sounds dirty... Got a 02 TRD Taco 122k 30 days ago upon purchase and 129k now. Need a plan. Staying low center of gravity and the stock size BFGs. ADD: armor and overland build cap, Aluminum rad and remote tranny cooler. manual tranny front skid to fix approach angle. Eventually front locker, I got the back (factory). Tranny slips a bit. I may try the solenoids but I am leaning towards just buying one and having a decade of trouble free service.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Got all the bits to install my ARB Elements Fridge, elements slide, Renogy 200 watt solar panel and Bluetti EB150 Solar Generator. I will not miss ice AT ALL.
For the bed build in the cap, I plan 3/4 inch Baltic Birch Plywood supported on four corners by one inch galvanized pipe mounted by floor flange top and bottom at twelve inches high and covering the bed fully.
Fridge Slide on top of the board and the entire bottom open for bins or loose long items. I would prefer the fridge weight low in the bed but it is longer than the wheel well to to edge measurement and would block almost all storage. I plan on three 5 gallon bottles diagonal across from the fridge to even the weight out.

I put stock size BFGs on Mango when I got her and nobody can get them balanced. They are giving me a new set but were backordered nationwide 90 days on that size. I am unwillingly increasing tire size to 265/75/16. Three more pounds per tire and one inch taller. I checked my gear code and have 4:10 so it should not be noticeably different.

Sounds like a nice camping setup. I've heard of a few others that had trouble getting the BFGs to balance out. Good luck with the new set.

If you haven't found it already, here's a link to the first gen section that will have a wealth of info on your 2002 model:

The BFGs rub at full lock. Not sure on what yet but I need all the turning radius I can get, already. Seems like I am always boxed in by trees when some trail ceases to exist (suddenly) and have to perform a 17 point turn.
