I was washing the engine bay out of mud and as I was cleaning this part fell out ? I have no idea what it is or where it goes. If anyone will know what it is …the members on here will. Any help appreciated. I did find it up on the passenger side by the windshield washer lines.

it should go in a hole in the top of the fender - it is like a bump stop for the hood.

Pretty sure it goes along the inner edge where the hood meets the fender. Or on the hood itself whichever
