My answer to the poll is...whenever I feel like it.
I'm not paying for trash pickup when the township transfer/recycling station is a few minutes away.

Same. You’re mostly paying for the transfer station thru taxes anyways. Why pay for pickup if you can take it off your self?..

This sunburn wasn't all that bad till last night when it decided to keep me up half the night. My own fault :frusty:

    Good luck, Brian :fingerscrossed:

Bummer. I always hated capping when you didn't really have time to enjoy it. Could you just shorten up your weeks till years end?

X3. It's also a really nice drive to it :notsure:

    Racoons are evil little bastards.

College field trip had us camping in Beavers Bend OK. That year for whatever reason there was a racoon population explosion. The ground was swarming with them. I put my food in an airtight rubbermaid container, place that in my tent, put a rock on top of it, and tied my tent zippers shut. I walked 15 steps away before the brazen little bastards were already at the tent, untying the zippers. They straight gave no shits who was watching. While I was shooing them away another gang stole my bag of charcoal and dragged it into the woods. Like some fucked up Dr Who episode, they were always stealing shit as soon as you turned your back.

I had enough and started dragging my food box to the school van. Then I saw what a bad idea that was when they were already there. Someone left the tailgate open, racoons were inside and scattering someone's dry pasta everywhere.

I decided I was going to be antisocial that night and just sit in my tent with my food. Got no sleep. But at least I didnt have to clean the van.

I did that a few years ago. I took one day a week off for two months.

I like to horde PTO hours. The company I work for caps them at 160 to carry over in the new year. With Covid I haven't had any desire to travel, so this year I have a lot.

I take my trash out the day before. I stopped recycling a few years ago. It was a tough habit to break being from California and all. The city took away all the recycling drop off points and moved them to the landfill. It seemed that people were messing it up and throwing away general garbage in the recycling bins.

I'm not loading crap up and going to the landfill to see how many nails I can get in my tires.

:rofl:Yep. Leave it in the garage over night if the trash can gets Full in the evening or something. The transfer station is close enough that i usually just take it off right away.

If it’s thrown in the truck bed and left something gets it by morning. Random stray cat, raccoon, skunk or maybe opossum.
