Can you put together a pictorial how-to, step-by-step + before and after? I've been considering this mod, even though the price is a little above my budget, so I want to see what I might be heading into.

I do. I was slightly concerned as I’ve seen some folks report fits that weren’t right. Either overlapping of the head unit bezel or one side seemingly fitting different than the other…

I installed both no issues at all, both spin freely and with much improved accuracy and feel. It also retained the ability to push for mute or whatever the tune button does.

To be fair, I rarely do anything but adjust volume. I use the Apple car play touch screen for everything else.

I wonder if these trucks are just a little different for everyone? Or perhaps it’s the knobs!? I’m sure everyone’s taking out the required inner black piece …

Had something of an eureka moment. realized that I could drill 2 holes in the rear crossbeam support for my bed deck, and drop some carriage bolts down then wingnut my traction boards to the crossbeam that way. Better than my current bungy cord set up.

No amount of youtube videos can prepare you emotionally for this moment.

Installed Brute Force Fab bumper today. Thanks to @Catfish21 for the bumper. Dipped into my lift/wheel/tires savings to jump on the bumper so now back to saving up for that. Lil' mythosaur skull from my desktop plotter for a finishing touch.

Here are some pics I took this morning after leaving work. Keep two things in mind:
    1. It was cloudy from TS Ida
    2. Sunrise hadn't occurred yet.

    Lights out back behind work:

    Away from building lights:

Window rolled down (for comparison vs. front window with lights on):

    Full lights on

    DRL only:

    No lights on:

    Hope this helps!

I've got a 275/70-17 Falken Wildpeak under mine with no mods to the position of the hoist or the positioning tabs. It's snug, but you can do it.

I have a ST and mine is tight, but that's because I mounted the trax to the front wall.
The "spacers" I mentioned are to hold the trax off the bed wall. Gotta have long carriage bolts.
