Morning all.

@Taco.man I think @GarlicFarts covered it. Those places he mentioned are biking trails, not truck trails though. NEK has a good mix of gravel roads to bomb around on and mtb opportunities. As for wheeling, you're really looking at the Class IV roads in NH, or the Class VI roads in VT.

 

There are some roads going through state forests in western MA too. They're the dirt roads labeled "poor condition" on the maps and my understanding is it's legal to take a normal vehicle through as long as the gates are open. They vary a lot in condition - some would be passable with a Subaru Outback. Others are really rough and would be great ATV trails, but they don't allow ATVs on the ones they have labeled as roads despite the "poor condition" note - in many of those state forests no ATVs are allowed at all.

Good morning peeps. I finally got some decent sleep. I had to drive from Buffalo to Boston - Boston to Providence over night...

 

Don't lie, you were trying to reach him about his cars extended warranty.

 

Yikes, we're spending Thanksgiving with my wife's family in Rochester this year and I'm already dreading that drive

 

We're going to Buffalo for Thanksgiving- most of my girlfriend's family is going to her sister's there. We usually end up out there once or twice a year. I don't mind that drive, but it's only about 5-1/2 hours for me since I'm pretty close to the NY border.

 

When I was still in NY it was a 5ish hour drive but that's bumped up to 7 hours now (which isn't terrible considering, but that's still 14 hours of my life ill never see again lmao)

 

I was in Rochester a couple of weeks ago for a wedding. We left Rochester on Sunday and went to Niagara Falls to go on the Maid of the Mist. After we went on that we drove home.

I'm driving back there tonight - in all this rain!

I do this trip 3 times a week! It takes me 7 hrs 30 minutes to do the drive because I'm limited to 63mph.

 

Work i assume? That's rough haha

We are doing well. Started looking for another Toyota. So oh course I figured I would swing in here. I’m surprised this hasn’t made it to 10k pages yet.

People talk to me like they don't know how I pulk the travel trailer long distance and wherever I want and I'm like it's not bad at all. But then I see this and I'm like hell no! Lol

 

I thought you had a toyota crawler?

 

I'll say the same thing. It's not that bad at all.

 

I get stressed out pulling the utility cart behind my Mom's lawn tractor.

 

Sometimes, a longer trailer is easier to manage. Put a little 4x8 uhaul trailer behind my truck and I’ll break into a cold sweat trying to back it up. I can reverse the camper wherever it’ll fit though

tandems though… that’s next level
