So I have been trying to track down a sub 2k rpm exhaust rattle. Got under the truck and noticed... Wait the 2nd 02 sensor has no nuts on it.. Really? Was this an oversite almost 10 years ago when the frame was replaced? Cleaned up the o2 sensor got a new gasket Got Stainless steel nuts and locks. Got it reinstalled properly. Still have the slight rattle at low rpms under almost no throttle. Is this just the almost 20 year old exhaust? No mounts are missing and every heatshield is solid. From the downpipe back probably should be replaced in the next year or 2. Any insights would be great!
