    Two things. First, every member can be rated by other members, Amazon style. 1 to 5 stars. Comments permitted with ratings but optional. Profile shows your average rating. You know it’s a great idea. Absolutely meaningless and so much fun.

    Second, well, I can’t remember now. So I guess this is like a 3-star post.

    5-star suggestion in a 3-star post. We used to have a reputation system like what you're describing. Endless complaints to the mods about how people were being rated and the reputation comments left by others.

    If I were in charge I’d implement the system above and then just delete all future ratings complaints as they came in.

    If you want to know your rating, check you post to like ratio.

    More likes than posts = good rating.

    More posts than likes = not so good.
