I agree with this. Although with Meso's history of phenomenal customer service and genuine passion for this sub, I'm gonna go ahead and give the benefit of the doubt. This ain't KTJO. Even so just don't use PayPal. Cc's are pretty good with this stuff when undelivered or beyond promise delivery date. With all that said, so in for them clear bois.

 

I'm just gonna say it. If it would help from a product planning standpoint, I'd vote to say that you might consider doing pre-orders for any of your stuff?

It's zero risk from my perspective.

 

100% Agree with @tonered ! Get the pre-order list going. And in full disclosure, we would all check the 'Agree' box that there is no guarantee of arrival time and I agree not to cry or whine on delays. Get that injection of funding and treat it like a mini-crowdsource project.

 

And if that's not an option, maybe revamp the wishlist or cart on the site so I can load up what I'm waiting on and am ready to just hit that button come drop hour. I think have to wait for restock to even make a cart at the moment. This way I wouldn't have to make a list off site to keep track of items. Quite this list I have here. You could also pull data for potential order numbers.

Just my 2 cents. I say give it a try. People who really want your products will sign up. Most will understand if there is a delay due to things that are out of your control. It will also mean that those who want it will not have to make sure they are on constant stand by to get them and if they miss out have to start all over again waiting for the next batch. If it doesn't work out you can always go back to the old way.

 

This is an odd one for me because I really do like them but I also already love the stage 1’s. I was planning to wait and let those who really want them get first dibs until it’s widely available. So I probably wouldn’t preorder but may buy down the road. Now if it was for FGT then I’d be smashing the keyboard to get in line.

 

Thanks for the feedback guys. Just spitballing the idea. I get it.. people are reluctant on preorders. And trust me, I am even more reluctant than you. But in this situation I am working with a major manufacture that is pretty on point as far as production schedule and delivery time frame. Which is the only reason I am entertaining the idea.

So both those products (and more) have been done for a while. The current status is they are waiting to get unloaded and delivered to me. The port of LA has been jammed up lately and the original delivery date of 8/28 has been pushed back. . So I fully anticipate them arriving in the week or 2. It's frustrating but these are the times we live in.

 

We all just need to reset our expectations.

But then, there are new threads about folks just coming out from under a rock. Maybe Rumpelstiltskin is contagious also?

 

Thanks for the update @MESO! I am one of those people that constantly has extra windows open with just your products so I can easily refresh (and refresh and refresh) constantly throughout the day to make sure I don’t miss the drop. I’m not obsessed and I’m not in denial!

Totally get it Meso. I work for Moet Hennessy and our products are shipped through the Port of Oakland. It's a damn mess right now. Liquor stores are complaining because all our Hennessy and champagne are sitting on the ships and there are massive out of stocks at stores. One of our ships even got rerouted to Seattle because it couldn't dock!
