    Hi all!

I just got my new 2021 TRD Off-Road in Army Green yesterday and have been spending my day between this forum and looking out my window at my first truck! I've been waiting since May for it to arrive after placing an order with a dealer. So glad the wait is over. Just in time before I move up to South Dakota. Already plan to get a camper shell when I get there to enjoy all the camping opportunities. Gonna have to learn about warding off those salty roads, too.

I've already benefited from this board and have some accessories ordered. This community has already saved me some money and confusion. I look forward to learning more here! Cheers!

Nice you'll love it up there in the winter.

SD is my home state. Where are you moving to?

I'm moving to the Southern Black Hills. I've spent most of my driving life in TX and AZ, so I feel better learning to drive up there in winter conditions with a truck and 4wd. Any tips for a beginner in the snow and ice?

Go slower in snow and ice. 4x4 doesn't help you stop on ice. Give yourself more space between the car in front of you. Sounds pretty simple but my brothers body repair shop gets a ton of work after a snow or ice storm from people in 4x4's that overestimated their driving skills.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Sweet! This will be epic! Ive got BFG Commercial Traction tires and my truck climbs walls; very pleased with the same set for the last 10 years. Save the original tires for Summer driving, though
