I installed an Alpine ILX-w650 HU in my 2010 a few months ago and whenever the ignition is on the most powerful local radio station will faintly play through my subs only. I could be listening to something over bluetooth connectivity and they will still play. Before I installed my subs I think I remember it playing over my regular speakers, but now it is only the subs. I can turn the subs off in the HU and it will still play. I've tried playing with the HU settings too and nothing. The only things that make it stop is physically interrupt the power by either turning the ignition off and unpluging the rca to the amp. Any ideas? Thank you!

WAIT! I have a thought. Could my Antenna wire be running too closely to my sub outs on the back of the HU and the Antenna inducting the power to the sub wires? That would make sense because if the door speakers used to and dont anymore then maybe I moved the door speaker wires farther way and now the sub outs took their place

Turns out that was the issue! wrapped them up in electrical tape and separated them farther apart and that fixed it!
