This was the first trip to Yellowstone. You still got plenty of room!

Oh man, my tacoma is quicksand too. I won't be an exact copy of you at least, I'll have the KO2's on mine. I did go back and fourth for a while debating between the KO2's and the Duratracs.

Guys, I'm thinking October 1,2,3 north T.W.A.T fall colors run.

    Point Detour Friday night..

    Point Detour Campground
    (800) 226-8478
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/238W3PfMryHkBc1g9

Start there Saturday morning, and see how far we get by mid-afternoon. Then find camp either somewhere near Clam Lake, or Medford, depending on where we end up.

Sunday people could keep working down the trail, or start heading home. No agenda. I will probably try to do some fishing and then drive home.

    Anyone interested?

Also, if we can get up there early enough Friday, we have to hit a local restaurant for some whitefish livers. Seems like a local delicacy... Or some form of hazing like the lamb fries in Funny Farm. :notsure:

Sweet! I’m sure looking forward to the long weekend. In fact, I’m taking the week off! Wife is working next Thursday and Friday, so for a couple day, I’m totally free!

Well now I went and did it. Wife wants to get away this weekend so I thought the 7hr plane crash might be fun to do on Monday. After reading more on it, it appears far more serious then the T.W.A.T.! They suggest take 2-3 days! What have I gotten us into??? Lol

Make sure you check the map! I think part of that goes through ATV trails. I want to check that out next year.

Me and a couple of friends tried doing part of that earlier this summer. The parts in the UP were awesome and mostly scenic roads. Some of the trails closer to Crandon were difficult/ impassable for a stock truck.

Basically, take it slow and if it looks too difficult it’s not too hard to find
    a trail that routes around.

Thanks, I’m with my wife, I think I’ll bypass the lower stuff and focus on the UP.
