Low profile bed channel stiffener

I was cruising the webs and found a low profile bed channel stiffener setup for our trucks, and they came as a kit to be used with a tailgate insert. By low profile, I mean that there was no gusseting sticking out into the bed area, bit instead these stiffeners seemed to wrap the rear corners of the bed sides, and lay almost flush with the floor and sidewalls. This design placed them in interference with the clear operation of the tailgate, and so a different design of tailgate insert was offered.
I can't find them anywhere! please help if you can.

description isn't really clear to me, but here's a couple pics of maybe what you describe? these are two different kits. the first one is Warrior 304 and the second is 4WP 4WP61748W.

I just installed the TC version yesterday. Pretty low profile while giving good lashing points

 

Doesn't look like very much added bed side strength

 

Totally man. Gusseted 3/16" steel plate is known to be very weak.

@Kodthree I know this is a way old thread, and long dead, but didn't see if you found your answer. I stumbled across them, and they are the billiebars bed stiffeners. Not cheap, but lowest profile I've seen.

 

Are people having to Trim their bed mats for these? or do some of them clear fine?

 

No problem with my Total Chaos bed stiffeners. The OEM bed mat is already notched in that area.
