Let me know how it pulls the trailer with the 255s if you can. I’m mostly concerned about long grades needing 3rd gear and the transmission temps getting high. My loaded trailer weight, Airstream Basecamp 16X,637A3024-D69F-476E-B5C3-D24AF943D7C2.jpg doesn’t exceed 3500 lbs. How heavy is that Winnie?

Killer mod! I’m sure the bed brackets help keep the bed from distorting under such loads.

It should help. But I have it just for the additional tie down.

So here’s two days worth of observation. I don’t sense any difference in town or on the highway. I havn’t trailered yet. The Speedo is 3 miles slow at 70 which is less than I thought (comparing Speedo to Waze GPS reported speed). The rpms at 50, 65 and 70 are roughly the same.

As to the skinny’s towing, maybe I’m wrong but I don’t expect any impact due to width. They’re less than 1/2” width less than the original Goodyear’s and are stronger 10ply sidewalls.

The truck is a POC on grades towing anyways and in a month or so the 5.29’s and Magnuson should help with that.

Got a screw plugged in a tire. Got her washed up (finally), ordered her wheels! Got a fair deal on them and didn’t have to drive out of town to get them. Should arrive in the next week or two.

Some light maintenance. Hit the pivot point of the Fuel door with white Lithium grease along with the main door hinges.

Also remounted my recovery Hook after a fresh coat of paint. It was Rustin’ and needed it. Need to rotate the tires next.

Finally got the suspension lift installed! No more rubbing from these beefy 32.9's lol. Now I can say it's time to get muddy... but this requires having time off work. who gets that? Not gonna lie, that UCA looks sexy AF. lol

If anyone knows anyone in need of some stock TRD Sport front coilovers, uca's, or rear shocks, let me know! Also got the stock wheels and tires all with 10K or less miles.

After installing my Volk TE37s and saving 7 pounds per wheel I noticed some wheel hop when I gave it too much throttle from a stop. Upon researching my problem I found out that the Roadmaster Active Suspension system can help with my problem. It will also help with my towing as well as my cornering abilities. I think it was @oostroma who first posted about this system and I am glad he did. My first test drive seemed to confirm that the wheels feel more planted on the ground. The install was quick and easy. The first side took about an hour while the second side only took about 15 minutes since I had made all of my mistakes on the first side. I gained an inch of lift in the rear which is not why I bought them but it gave me 1 inch of rake back that I lost when I put on the TRD Pro coilovers up front.

We took a trip camping out west and I burned through the last of my tread. ~ 6000 miles in a couple weeks towing a pop up. Got some new tires today and washed it last night. Going on a much shorter camping trip starting tonight.
