Noticed it was definitely peppier than what everyone says about a stock one. So I figured the previous owner tuned it. I just put 33 inchers on it and its still peppy with no feeling of loss in power and my rpms in 6th at 80 is 2k. Did the previous owner regear this thing?? (Fingers crossed). Ialso noticed that my speedo is off by only 1mph, so maybe this guy was running bigger tires and did everything right by regearing and calibrating. Thinking I might have lucked out here.

A regear would not affect your Speedo, as speed is measured at the wheels, not the transmission.

Keep hanging around here and you’re start to feel your truck being slower and incapable.

I know that. I'm thinking the previous owner did all the right things when he had it.
Hahaha I'm sure. I've got a 97 land cruiser that's built and now superchargers are the new craze over there.
    thank you!
