Simsbury roads at least around the Farmington are still a wash, 315 and a bunch of side roads. All that wash came down from the hills mid morning and pooched it up badly. Still shut down this morning too!

 

On a side note, anybody running amber pods for fog lights? I have the Cali raised 3x2 ambers I feel like they are too bright for daily use but i love how they light up back roads at night. I did think about going to a Baja Design SAE kit but I love the fit and finish in the Cali raised bracket/packaging set up( and price point). I really like Baja's lighting theory with the zones and what not plus I hate thinking I could be seeing better, also curious as to what others have used and the experience.

 

I run the rigid sae pods in amber. They have a better cutoff than regular pods and being sae; i feel more comfortable running these on roads. Pods are blinding to oncoming traffic; dangerous and not legal.

What brackets are you running them on? I don't believe that the Caliraised brackets fit those

 

They came in the box with some basic mounting brackets, that mounted to a simple L bracket that came with my bumper.

 

Oh that's right, you have an aftermarket front bumper. I was thinking about if a person had an OEM front bumper.....

 

I'm currently doing the @MESO pod mod. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/caliraised-pod-mod.494543/ It may help but i think depending on how it comes out i may just order the Baja designs or Diode Dynamics SAE set ups, i can always use these as my ditch lights..Really want the Baja one but at $100 bucks cheaper i may go with DD. Damn this forum is really killing my wallet!

 

Definitely looking to go DD when I have disposable income, and maybe ditch lights too

Starting off the school year with a bang.

Oldest is considered close contact, and his entire classroom has to do distance learning until Monday the 13th. Allowed to go back on the 14th.

 

Went to Danbury Mall to pick up something and I found my (almost) Doppelgänger FJ.
2014 Iceberg, but non lifted and a roof rack.

Shitty phone pic facing the sun, but there is a bit of height difference.
Not too often I find another Iceberg FJ at the same place I am.
