I'm new to the group, but was formerly in the Tundra group. I had a 2002 Tundra Off-Road Extended cab since 2002, and it was the most reliable vehicle that I've ever owned. But at 350,000 miles, it was only a matter of time or miles before the maintenance would start eating my dollars up. Plus, I was only getting 12-14 MPG.

My new truck is a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Double Cab V6 Auto. Great truck, but has taken a bit of time to get used to it. The V6 certainly has a different power profile than the Tundra's 4.7L V8, but there is still plenty of power for what I need. Still getting used to all of the buttons, lights, bells and whistles.

Welcome. Lots of buttons, bells, and whistles for sure. Took time for me to get used to too. My vehicle before my Tacoma was a 2002 WRX. I was lucky I had power windows.

P.S. Don't mention MPG, it brings out the hate parade.

Welcome. I recently made the same move. I had an 05 Tundra Limited double cab with 254K miles on it. Never had a problem other than lower ball joints. When I traded it in on my new Tacoma it still had the original exhaust. I hope you are as satisfied with your new Tacoma as I am.
