Sold - Undercover Swingcase - passenger side SC401P 2005-present Eastern MA

Excellent condition, see pics. Was installed in my last truck for about a year. No rust/wear, it was under my Leer shell so never saw any rain or snow.

Includes both brackets and all original hardware, removeable tray, and 2 keys.

How does it install and stay locked in?

 

See the attached file. One of the brackets is installed using the existing bolts for the cubby hole. The other one has to be screwed in through the composite bedside. That's what the 4 tek screws are used for. You can make minor adjustments once installed if necessary.

The box itself locks with the provided keys. There is a place for a padlock to prevent the whole thing from being lifted right out of the truck. I believe you would have to remove the padlock to swing the case toward the tailgate.

I don't think the padlock in necessary. If I remember correctly, the box has to be swung out to be removed. So if the tailgate is locked, the box cannot be removed(not 100% sure on this.)

I would recommend doing a bit of research before buying. This item didn't work with my Bakflip cover.

yea this was the the brand i mentioned in your thread rick, for 25 bucks this might be worth a try, i do see how fitment might be tight though with an arb unit, you going with the single or double arb pump??

You guys are either pulling my leg or you've just never seen one of these in person. It's just a plastic tool box, nothing incredible about it.
They are pretty cool, but definitely overpriced for what they are, IMO.

 

Right well that's why we're joking. $200 is a lot for a toolbox. I def. want one but like...$25 is a crazy steal!! Also...kind of tired of the smoke so looking for a reason to visit the east coast
