Hello everyone. I recently traded my 2020 GMC Denali for a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Mainly reasons for that I am gone to work for 6 months out of the year and didn't need that expensive of a truck. I decided on a Tacoma because of the world of customization that surrounds it. I have plans of building a moderate overland vehicle so I can introduce my kids to the camping and outdoor world.

You will regret the trade once you need to pull something. That Denali would pull a lot more.

You are correct my friend. My Denali was the 3.0L diesel so even worse of a comparison. My largest trailer is only a 12ft enclosed trailer and the Tacoma pulls it well enough for local usage. Luckily I have close friends with large diesel trucks if I needed to pull something heavy.
