Song Limit

First of all, I have a 2015 with the non-Nav Entune head unit.

I keep all my songs on a thumb drive. Sometimes a song will show up on the Thumb Drive when I look at it on my computer, but when I plug in into the USB port in the the truck, the song won't show up on the Entune directory.

Is there a limit to the number of songs Entune can play/see/read?

I ran the software update for my Entune. Not sure if it had any effect on the problem I was having but here is what I figured out.

I had a folder called Music on my thumb drive. I had nearly 600 songs in this folder. Entune would only recognize 475 of them which is kind of a weird number in the Digital World; I would think it would be something 256 or 512 or maybe in 1024. But for some reason it is 475.

So I created a second folder called Music2 and renamed the original to Music1. Sorting by song title, I put all the songs whose first letter was A through M in Music1. Then I moved all the songs that start with N through Z into Music2.

Now it plays all the songs in Music1 in alphabetical order and when it gets done with the last song in Music1 it automatically jumps to Music2 and starts playing the first song in that folder. I do not have to manually switch to the different folder.
