First Tacoma! Finally joining the community..

Just put a deposit on a 21’ TRD Off Road in Super White, hopefully taking delivery by the end of the month. I’ve always loved them and came very close to getting one a few years ago when I bought my current truck, so when my dealer offered me a more than fair offer for my trade I finally pulled the trigger!

I’m coming from owning a 2018 Silverado 1500 for the past 3 years. It truly has been a great vehicle, but if I’m being real it’s a bit more truck than I really need. I have never towed more than about 3500 lbs and I’ve only used the 6.5” bed to it’s full potential twice.

What really drew me to a taco was the reliability, better gas mileage (vs my current V8), cheaper insurance, value retention, better offroad capability, reliability, easier to drive in the city, reliability… oh, and I just think they’re the best looking midsize on the market to be honest.

I already have a few mods in mind for early next year. Maybe a level and some 17’s with KO2’s. Seems like there’s an awesome community surrounding taco’s and I’m excited to be a part of it very soon!
