I made a chicken roulade stuffed with smoked Gouda and mushroom duxelles, with a potato fondant, whipped garlic herb cream cheese and roasted broccoli with a balsamic plum reduction.

A little of this and a little of that.
Wife and I made our version of Chile Relleno for dinner. Poblano peppers, chicken, rice, cheese.

My wife was craving something chocolate so this started off as a gluten free brownie mix. We have some almost too ripe bananas that were mixed with cream cheese. Then the entire thing was topped with peanut butter and melted white chocolate chips (tastes exactly like Reese's Pieces).

    20210905_203656.jpg

Fortunately it's not sickeningly sweet but the edges where the peanut butter is thicker gets close.

do you puree it or just take the peppers out for use? I have a ton of chili peppers coming and this could be an option for some.

Have you made cowboy candy before? The cayennes would probably make a great extra spicy version if you end up with more.

Yeah, it's a sweet and spicy combo that's amazing. It could be worth the discomfort :notsure:

Oh no, not that they don't get along with my gut, my taste buds hate it. I don't eat much Asian food because most of it is too sweet. Like peanut butter is the closest thing to sweet and savory I do, maybe bbq sauce I guess but alot of it is too sweet for me

Hmmm.... Okay, then I take it back and you should give it a shot. Just do what I do and cut the sugar ratio in half. The recipes I find are always way too sweet and tend to drown out the taste of the peppers themselves. Goes great on baked potatoes or thrown in a pasta or potato salad similarly to a relish. At least that's how I eat the stuff.
