These are the necessary items to add an outlet to the puny OEM inverter. The items are meant for a no double crimp terminals. But you'll need the skill to de-pin the original connector.
They need to be inserted into a duplicate connector, then additional paired wires back to were the 1st ones were removed. Added wires to one or two A/C outlet locations. The duplicate connector gets a junction block. This mates the respective wires. DO NOT USE the CENTER pins of the connector and junction block. This is a duplicate of what a 4Runner has.

For a no de-pin solution is the following:

For the 400W "always" in automatic transmission:
    upload_2021-8-10_1-8-31.jpg
Ground the Pink wire to BC location (same location where the Inverter has it's ground)

2nd Gen DRL harness has connectors, wires with terminals needed. Adding 2 more of 90980-10803 and junction block. Terminals to the new outlet and you're done.

There are fellas here that can assemble it for you at a cost, for those with fear snipping, crimping and assembling projects.

Nice. I assume this is of use for me if I want to run a small charger (15w) up on a dash mount while retaining the factory plug out back? Will it run when the truck is moving? Shuts off when truck is off, or no? Sorry, dumb questions, I'm not up to speed on the oem inverter system.

Also, who should I reach out to make me something?

    Thanks!

    Yes
It's a parallel outlet. It'll be ON when vehicle is in IGN or ON and the inverter switch ON. So yes, ON running and OFF when truck is OFF.
    Maybe @lapoltba or @kmorgan3 or @Puppypunter

@caribe makaira and I are going to make a few test harnesses to bring this back to life as the last person to do so… failed miserably to deliver.

We will be making a single plug-and-play version that will allow 400 W anytime + the addition of a factory outlet to the rear of the center console. We will not be offering a cluster fuck of confusing add-ons or relocation extensions. We also won’t be taking your money ahead of time just to keep you waiting a year.

If you’d like to get on the wait list just let me know; the first prototypes have been ordered. We will make a for-sale thread when we confirm the prototypes are working and we can scale production. We will contact the wait list at that time to place orders when things are in stock. Thanks!

A prototype is ready to go. If you or someone else is really wanting to do a 400W anytime + add a rear outlet (85530-35050-C0) I will ship this off tomorrow.

The design has been improved over the original. Connectors might change slightly in the production version. For now the connections are probably waaaay overkill for this little mod. I'm also considering a stackable ring terminal as the factory ground bolt calls for it.

I currently have the KTJO 4x4 anytime 400W mod. Is this mod the same or does it offer something different from KTJO 4x4? I’m a beginner level when it comes to electrical.

I still have the overpriced harness from...The One Who Attempted Before...sitting in my mod box. Wanted to add some outlets inside the cab. Never got around to it. Maybe I need a second harness to get me off my lazy ass.

Nah. Need bacon and alcohol to do that.

Less frills in this version; will be cheaper to mass produce while getting the job done.
    Completed_first_run.jpg

Harnesses have been sent to testers for feedback and I am getting a quote to scale them in the meantime. I'm also going to install one in my 4Runner as I am fairly certain it's the same connector.
