Get the Diode dynamic Ssc pods. I got them when they first came out and helped beta test the mounting brackets for 2010 bumpers. Amazing lights and they have a labor day sale 15% off. I got the sport models because they are plenty bright for my area but arent crazy bright for around town. I love how wide the beam is, it makes it a lot easier to see side streets when you are turning.

Can't contain my excitement anymore... here it is! After three 4Runners I joined the dark side and bought a Jeep. I know deep in my heart that I'll end up back in a 4R in the next few years but the Jeep is an experience I needed to have since growing up around my dad's YJ Wrangler is why I'm in this crazy hobby/profession in the first place. Who knows, maybe I'll find a boatload of extra money or win the lottery and be able to keep it and just add a 4Runner to the stable... dreaming big here, obviously. Anyways, the new-to-me Jeep is a 2012 Wrangler Sport that's been fairly extensively modified (Rubicon axles w/lockers, Mopar suspension, AEV wheels, 285/70/17 KM2, quick-disco sway bar links, Expedition One front bumper w/Superwinch, etc etc etc). Should be good fun on the trails in the Northeast!

 

Congrats dude! I'm constantly thinking about just picking up a beater xj for the super crawly stuff that I don't feel comfortable taking the taco through but that's still far off

 

Thanks Matt! And XJs are still killer all these years later. Find a 4WD 2-door with a manual and you can undoubtedly sell it for what you paid or likely more as they become more and more rare.

 

Its a very tempting idea but I have neither the space nor time/money for a toy

Question to those of you with rain guards: i picked up some avs in channels used and the adhesive is barely holding on, can I use 3m double sided auto tape or is that stuff way overkill? And if so what would you recommend?
