a hub centric ring is a plastic or aluminum ring that fits around the wheel hub on your truck. Aftermarket wheels are typically made with a larger centerbore so that they can fit on a variety of vehicles. The hub centric ring is used to effectively make the wheel hub on your truck as large as the centerbore on your aftermarket wheels. This is supposed to help center the wheel on the hub when you put it on the truck. Otherwise, the center of the wheel will not be in the center of the hub. When this happens you will get vibrations similar to out of balance tires.

I bought a set from http://www.justforwheels.com, but they are available other places like your local aftermarket wheel shop. Before you get a set you'll need to know your truck's hub size (+05 5-lug tacomas have a 60.1mm hub) and the centerbore of your aftermarket wheels (varies by wheel). If your aftermarket wheels have center caps, you will need to know the inside diameter of the center cap since that will what fits on the hub ring.

Also check what type of lug nuts are recommended for the aftermarket wheels. You may need to get a new set.

    Congrats man!

*shameless plug* The stock wheels with 31x10.5x15 tire don't look bad at all

Makes sense. I do 95% driving on paved roads and very little off roading. Roads here in AZ are maintained very well and hardly under construction.

I heard that Cragar Soft 8's with 5" or 4.5" back spacing will fit... Sorry to hear that the wheels didn't fit. If it rubs just a little bit, take dremel to the caliper...

I spoke to salesperson near a rim shop close to my house and he told me I shouldn't have a problem with these rims. He said they wouldn't interfere with the caliper on my 5lug. I just might go with these, a little expensive for my budget, but they are bad ass!
