Hey guys I have a 2013 TRD sport. This issues been going on for a few years where it works great one moment and then you can hear the compressor disengage (sounds like its whining) then flashing light and warm air from the vents.

I’m trying to figure out where to start with troubleshooting. I have read on ghost forum that there is a pickup sensor that plugs inline with the compressor. How can I use a process of elimination to finally get this issue resolved? Any suggestions as always, are greatly appreciated!

I have and thank you. I’m not sure what he means in that thread he says it was the sensor then says he has a brand new one to sell does that mean he grabbed the wrong part?

also I changed the relay with a brand new one it’s working better but still flashes here and there and I have to shut it off and restart it.

one thing I’m noticing is now my truck is idling odd as if the compressor is going on for maybe 10 seconds then off for a few and it’s making my truck idle along with it. When the compressor is disengaging my RPms drop by maybe 500 and the truck rumbles.

    how annoying

If you've replaced the relay with a known good working one, check your AC charge and the amplifier in that order.
