My name is John, unfortunately I don't currently own a Toyota truck, but I used to and I loved it. I do a lot of work on a couple older friend's Toyota Tacomas, so I thought I would sign up so I can continue to be able to help them out. They are both high miles except from a Toyota point of view. One has almost 400K and the other will hit 500K the next time I change the oil. I'm a mechanic and I work on all sorts of stuff. Been a fan of Toyota since I was younger. I taught myself to drive in my uncles Toyota in his field before it was legal to hit the road. Owned a couple in high school and had to retire them after I could no longer patch the frames together. I used one engine to power my homemade log splitter, and sold the other to a friend for parts. Been hoping to get another for awhile now but just haven't found the right deal. I look forward to talkiing to some of you soon.
    John

Welcome John. I have had and still have many Toyotas. What was or is your favorite motor. Mine was the 22RE in my old 92 Yota stick shift 4x4.

The worst was the 3.0 which I have in my 94 T4R at the house. I do like the power of the 4.0 when pulling my boat but every day driving I miss my 4 banger.
