    1. Welcome.
    2. Drive 1000 miles before you decide to swap out anything. It won't take you that long, and you won't make quite as many mistakes.
    3. When you decide to ignore my advice (3 seconds ago), at least follow the 72-hour rule (if you have to buy/modify/etc. it now, wait 72 hours and see if you still feel the same way).
    4. Don't forget the spouse corollary (explaining why you ignored points 1 and 2 can be costly, divisive, or both)
    5. Before you trade it off or disparage it, consider how you looked in 1987? Have the years and mileage been as good to you? If not, remember point 4.
    6. Remember, it's your truck and your money. Do what you want, not what some guy on TW says to do. :)
