Hi folks, my 2005 stopped showing me the outside temp, I love that readout. Not sure what happened. I was looking thru the manual and one thing that has me puzzled is it shows the compass indicator as being on the roof of the truck just above the windshield, but on mine there is nothing there.
Is there a fuse that I can check or a set of lights in the readout that go bad? Thanks for the help.

when it went out on my '07 I was able to push up on the area just toward the rear of the vehicle from the actual read-out and it would work until I released the pressure and like so many others found, there was simply a bad connection, a broken solder joint, that was easy to find and see and fix. I'll bet yours is the same, simply a lose or bad connection on the board.

I'm sure you can do a search and find where others did a write up of how to take it apart, find and fix the problem. Really pretty easy.

Yup, bad connection on the circuit board. There are 2 resistors labeled 510 that loose solder connection. If you are comfortable with a soldering iron, it's an easy fix.

Ok sure. Where is it board located and how do I get it apart? Is it underneath the blackish plastic cover?
    Thanks

Yep, got it. Just like you guys said. The bottom resister came loose. Know I just have to buy a low wattage soldering iron to fix it. Thanks again.
