Unused wiring connector

    Whenever there's an unused connector, it's likely for a feature your truck doesn't have. Manufacturers like to use the same harness in various vehicles for ease of manufacturing. This benefits us because sometimes it makes it easier to add oem accessories since the wiring is already run. My guess, it's for steering wheel controls, assuming you don't already have them.

    I was looking into adding steering wheel controls and was looking for the connectors needed and this wasn’t one of them. Obviously being a tacoma owner I’m always looking to add items so that connector intrigued me. I tried to get the color wires in the pic. To see if that helped at all. Yellow/black blue/white white/black

    You have fused Battery source, IGN fused source and ground to "re-use".
