    You used snail mail. I've been using Turbo-Tax for years. Much faster and easier.

    By the way....
    Today we got two checks from the IRS. One for an overpayment and the other I'm guessing is the rest of the stimulus money we never got.... They are still working through things it seems

    The James Webb telescope was supposed to launch in 2007 with an expected 10 year life span. It is still waiting to be launched... Never underestimate the inefficiency of government.

    Yes, we are one of the few countries that requires citizens to do the work the government is going to do anyways. But look at the plus side. If you don't do your taxes, and you over paid, the government won't come after you. They'll just pocket that extra after 3 years and leave you with nothing. So if you REALLY don't want to do taxes ever, just pay more than you should. Sounds like a great reason to make people think it's super difficult, and that's before they even get to the lobbying tax software firms.
