    I actually found the pictures I took the night it happened; Again, the BMW was fixed and the VW was totaled!

    Most likely just means the fender panel got pushed back into the door. The fender and door panels are right next to each other, if one gets pushed even a tad bit toward the other it can block the door from opening. Not an indication of frame damage on its own.

    Though my dad was shoveling snow in January 2016 shortly after I got the truck back from the body shop, he wasn't paying attention, and he dented my new fender with the handle of the snow shovel...
