What’s up with that thing? There’s a 99’ out in our driveway that needs a scoop hood.

“needs”…tell me more about a second Gen and needing a hood scoop. Is it functional on a second Gen?

I thought it was at first but I don't think it is. Tires definitely don't match and it's a different shade of grey or not even the same color. After looking at his pics, his t4r us more of a tan than grey.

I finally got my hands on an angle finder and went to town on my driveline. I put in 2.5 degree pinion shims to lift my rear diff up from about 5 degrees and then I dropped my carrier bearing about an inch and I really think I found a sweet spot. No vibrations at any speed so far

Been a handful of years since I ran the busywild in Elbe, so decided to squeeze the (first?) 3rd gen Tacoma down it this weekend. Truck did fine, a little wide for it in spots and dented the sliders more.
Also ordered up a generic truss for the rear axle, going to truss the rear end/make some diff armor and move the brake and abs lines higher up since I smashed those.
Another thing, anyone in the Issaquah/Sammamish area have a 2'x2' chunk of plate? Need to make a new tcase skid since I relocated the exhaust the other week.

It can be pretty fun, not much skill needed to wheel, more or less just avoiding body damage or hitting big holes with big tires and power

Dented or just scratched? I get trail rash like that all the time and generally comes off through buffing with a DA buffer.

Ordered up stuff to do Chevy 63s and Fox 2.5/14s, so will have a pair of bolt on Fox 2.0 Resis/Cd adjuster for sale here soon. They are the 9.6" travel ones!
