VF 2.0 and fuel pump recall

Hello everyone,
I have been running VF Tune Premium 2.0 for about a year and loved it. Recently I took my truck in for the fuel pump recall and I have to say the truck feels dogish now.
I'm really bummed because I was really happy before they replaced the fuel pump.
Has anyone run into this and what did you do or what can be done to regain lost performance.

I don't think it should affect the tune as they are replacing it with the same part (abiet without the issues). I would double-check the work done, make sure there are no fuel leaks. Other than that, not sure what the problem could be.

 

Reflash (retune) your truck and clear DCT's, ECU, and TCU (TCU for automatic only). This will ensure the tune is on the truck and allow it to relearn your driving again.

 

Not likely, but maybe, they flashed your ECU as part of the service. Didn’t happen to mine but you never know.

Re-flash your 2.0 tune or get the KDMax 7.0 for a real thrill.

 

Or the CVC Tune

I loaded the mild and wild I had laying around that I never tried and i noticed a difference right away. I'm going to evaluate it tomorrow on my drive to work. The VF Tune 2.0 seems like they disabled it somehow. Even after reloading 2.0

 

What do you mean by "disabled it"?

 

It's like It's running stock on 2.0

 

Can you do that through vftuner?

 

Yes you can. You can also do it on Techstream, but not as straight forward.
