What's the option for no mtb? Just chill wherever?

I personally bad at all sports, so you get to miss seeing me fail on the trails downhill. We can find some time for a hiking, I would be interested to spend one day hiking as well if there are cool places around. Haven't been to QC outdoors, beyond big cities and skiing in Tremblant, not sure what they have to offer in the summer.

 

Maybe visit Charlevoix, I hear they have some good MTB and nature things to do

 

Got these laid out on the map. The waypoints are the calendar date of destination per your itinerary. @philth if your friends have some recommendation of good off the path campong here that would be good as well.


At this point I am ok with leaving the 10th unscheduled as sept 7 haul could be 2 days or if we just blow a day getting distracted. If it turns into an additional day for MTB i am good with that or maybe another destination in QC.

By the sounds of it we will need to carry some fuel. Best case we get all open gas stations, worst case we need an additional 25, 50L. What are your thoughts?

I was planning on carrying about 40L of fuel just in case gas stations are closed. Worst case we can abandon one truck and get some fuel later.

 

Do we have any update on this Or at least locations to visit, maybe camp around?

My buddy had an unexpected death in his family, so I haven’t heard back from him regarding specifics, apologies dudes. I don’t know that area myself, so I got nothing.

Great trip! Very comfortable roads to travel on, some are brand new! Very scenic views and even we had a very wet weather we enjoyed the great north outdoors. Highly recommend this route if anyone interested going there in the future. If you have any route questions DM me or @somebody for information.
