I thought from those first pictures this was going to be a very labor intensive job .

It was not near as long as I thought.

 

Yup, this sucks. But you did what you have in your power.

My sister and I weren't close growing up..I've tried as we became adults but she's always "gonna", to be honest I'm not sure she's ever truly accepted me as family because we were adopted from 2 different families as children less than a year old. Really sucks that I barely see my niece and nephews despite being 20 minutes away.

Oh, what do I take camping..not myself. I fkn hate it

I will say one thing.

Things always seem to come full circle. To what end is unknown.
If he is trying to disrupt your very being then as along as you
keep thinking about it , then he is in control without having to lift a finger.
Keep the door closed but not locked. Turn the page and continue on. Pages can be turned back
And read again sometimes with a different story outcome. I’ve been there.

 

I was watching modern marvels last night and they were at the Yamaha factory. I never knew it but Yamaha started out making musical instruments, that’s why the logo is 3 tuning forks.

Before a friend bought his Strat and his parents bought him a Tele, his first guitar was a Yamaha. I tried for quite a while to get it out of tune and never succeeded.

His mom taught piano, I think it was a Yamaha, too.

One step closer to getting the generator installed. I have to meet with the utility company (my employer) on Monday for the shutdown and hookup of the new transfer switch. It’s silly I can’t just pull the meter but that’s the rules.

 

Yea they don’t like it when you break that hanging thingy.

 

That bit is great for removing grade 8 bolts out of OEM Tacoma leaf springs too. Ask me how I know.

I have a yamaha guitar.

 

I envy that set up. Our house has the box where I can switch to generator but it's manual, and then I just have a tiny 3500 continuous capacity generator that I can plug in. I figure not going to be without power for a whole week again. Happened to me years ago, winter time and extremely cold. Sucky experience. That outage was caused by a major rain/freeze event that took out all sorts of power lines.

 

I actually knew this! I've got a Yamaha acoustic guitar that's kinda hard to play but sounds amazing. They made some incredible guitars back in the day.

 

We had an event like that here too, we call it the ice storm of ‘98. I was without power for a week. We didn’t have a generator either. This is more of a necessity for me now, because if I loose power I’ll be out working to restore it while the wife and kid are home, and I don’t expect her to mess around with hauling out the old portable generator and hooking it into the panel. Luckily I’m licensed to do this stuff so there is a cost savings there.

 

I ran a 2,300 watt gen for a week also for furnace, fridge, light bulb. We were warm. We cooked on the grill. It worked..
