Lots of work that I will finally try to start and finish this sunday at @geekhouse23 garage.

First thing is new Chaevy 63s leaf packs for the rear. Old ones were used and currently about 3 years old. Still waiting on my new coils to go in upfront

New u bolts for the rear as well as bumpstops that are currently in colorado or utah so new ones are definitely needed.

New kicker speakers for the front and rears as well as subawoooooooooooo tweeters. Maybe get some sound deadening done since ill have some extra hands and improve the sound more.

New dasaita unit will be delivered today but i am waiting for one more adapter before ill be able to install that.

I definitely need to look at a lot of this wiring and get my headlights redone. Will take pictures and be more active now that I have projects for ashlee.

Hope yall have a great weekend 'MURICA.

Quite a productive weekend on the truck and in the garage. Finally got enough of it cleaned to set up my latest garage purchase

I then did a little work on the truck. Replaced the taillight wiring harness with a spare I had lying around because the turn light didn’t light up for whatever reason. I also found out my hood struts was causing a gap in my hood. Not sure as to why but I disconnected them for now. I also installed my once piece wheel guards. Are they perfect? No. Am I happy for $15? Absolutely.

pay no attention to the coils. New ones have been ordered. I’m just waiting for them to come in then these will be sent out to be completely rebuilt

So I FINALLY got the correct harness and everything is working. I have to double check the buttons and figure out why CarPlay won’t let me set it up. I also was able to grab an older head unit on eBay for $18 and that includes shipping and tax. Thank you eBay auctions.

EDIT: Everything is working perfectly. Had to reverse the mirror display because it originally came up backwards

Got quite a few things done this weekend.

First things first. New beef came in :bananadance:

I was able to do my transfer case and rear differential oil changes. Need to drop the front skid to do the front diff which I’ll get to this coming weekend

I also painted my new toolbox drawer handles. Looks much better with the black and green

coming this weekend will be the front differential oil change and I’m going to hopefully soundproof the roof. Then the rust will be taken care of before getting fluid filmed

    NEW BEEF has been ordered

    :spending::spending::spending::spending::spending::spending::spending::spending::spending::spending::spending:

Current tires have lasted almost 70k when they told me 60 at most so its well overdue. Finally have everything to update/upgrade my lift in the front and rear which will be happening once the snow begins to melt. Gonna be a great summer and cant wait for more trips.

New X3s have been installed. Went through discount tire and they were awesome. I’m and hour in under 90 min. The best part was watching them trying to jack it up

Well it has been a while I finally hit 100k!

    IMG_6645.jpg

I did some sound deadening in the cab floor. Want to do the ceiling but still holding off

    IMG_4581.jpg

This was probably the biggest PITA I’ve experienced with the truck. I swapped out the 7.5 year old suspension up front with all new parts. I worked on it for about 20 hours before I ran into a seized bolt. There was a lot of stress, monster and adult beverages and of course swearing. I had to cut a lot and it was just a big stress ball

it is rewarding to see it all done and brand new and looking good.
