Just saw this on YT and was going to share ... don't think it's a TW member? A long ways from Hurricane UT at around 4 hrs drive (according to the video).

Not sure I want to watch it. I try to keep my YT feed full of EPIC fails. If all those ended up in almost, wouldn't be as fun to watch. Let me know when someone does 47 degrees on a volcano

I'm curious what he charges, being two vehicles, multiple employees, let alone the insurance incase the recovery goes wrong?

With the money he makes off YouTube I doubt he's too concerned with charging the customer an arm and a leg.

Youtube doesn't pay as well as people think. Probably covers Trevor and Tucker (shooting, drone, and video editing).
Looks like stock suspension. If it had a lift, it would've tipped over.

Yeah, the real money (at least for niche channels) is from Patreon-supporter super fans or merch sales. Looks like Matt’s is going the merch route. They have some cool stuff, lol even autographed hot wheels and bobble heads.

Been watching Matt for a long time now and this one looks pretty bad compared to the majority. Giving it a watch on lunch break!

I’ve read some pages that do the math based on number of views and subscribers and Matt is pulling in about $250k per year just on YouTube ad revenue. That’s before you factor in all the merch they sell.

I’m sure he’s charging them normal towing rates, he’s still running a business. The YouTube monies are just gravy on top of it.

It’s not like they became a charity towing company once he started the YouTube channel.

What is the number for a recovery like the one shown. Not just Matt. How much would I expect to pay if I do that?

I'd bet he charges as much as he can get away with. Who wouldn't? Altruism only exists on TV.

I just want to know what that number is for the tow. Not just Matt but anyone.

IE lets say I get stuck at Big Bend State Park (Not hard to do as I made it to the off-road campsites (Mohela?) in a rental Chevy Traverse)
How much would a recovery run? I assume someone has to come from Marfa which would be about a four hour drive if you include the two hour access road before the trails.
