What do you guys think of Netflix movie selection? I know up here in Canada the selection SUCKS! 98% of the movies on here are old and were B movies at best when they were new! Some of the newest movies on there are "Zack & Miri make a Porno", "Taken" & "School for Scoundrels". Lots of foreign crap as well that I have never heard of.

I know there are some CRTC issues that require a certain "Minimum Canadian Content" but WTF?

Can you guys down south get all new releases or is your selection limited also? When I try to go to the netflix.COM site it autodirects me to netflix.CA

I live in Johnstown, Pa and have Netflix. Our selection seems just fine. Most new movies are DVD only, but I get about 2 DVD's a week on the $9.99 per month plan. (That's 1 movie at a time. I get one, watch it, send it back and get another within 1 week) I figure that's pretty good along with the instant watch movies I watch about 1 or 2 a day / night. Selection has improved, but then I used to pay $8.99 per month until the new pricing went into effect on Jan 1, 2011 and now it's $9.99 per month. They did offer to let me stay at $8.99 per month, but that was instant download movies only, no DVD's thru the mail. Most new movies are DVD only.

I have netflix. Have not had an issue with it. I too get about 2 discs a week on the 9.99 plan (now 11.99 since I upgraded to Blue-ray). I do like that there is more of a selection for instant movies. I was starting to run out of movies to watch online.

USA netflix has a good bit of newer stuff on watch instantly through the deal they struck with starz network. I bet that's why we have so much newer stuff.
