What are you guys' thoughts? I liked the Colorado ZR2 but it made sense since it is a good offroad rig. Are full size trucks like this even good for offroading unless the trail is really mild/open? I like how this truck looks, compared to the other trim levels. I don't think it is really in competition with Raptor or TRX though. Cool that it has front and rear lockers and those shocks. The truck seems gimmicky but I still dig it. Just wondering everyone's thoughts. (Just for fun, I'm not buying one lol)2022-Chevrolet-Silverado-1500-Refresh-ZR2-Exterior-001-front-three-quarter-1024x580.jpg

60 grand lol. But I guess it's slightly above the Trail Boss, which is to be expected.

Just saw a quick video on this earlier. Seems pretty good. It's got a 6.2L V8 probably better for more open terrain I don't think a full size would do well in tight trails.

Seems to me the full size trucks struggle off-road in comparison to midsize trucks/ Jeep’s Broncos, due to their size and weight. Raptor and Trx aside because they are in a different category, the equivalent of super cars for the truck world. IMO you buy a full-size truck over a Tacoma for the power, towing capacity room and luxury. I’d rather drive a 1500 or f150 across the country than a taco. I put up with the taco however for its dependability and off-road prowess. It’s a better starting point for off-road capability while a full size is a better starting point for a comfortable highway cruiser. If you want a full-size that’s capable off-road just get a raptor or Trx.

It is a tad underwhelming, for sure.
