It took them literally all day to do mine. I dropped it off at 9am and didnt get it back until 5pm.

It took them two days to do mine. Doesn’t mean you should pay for more than what the book calls for installation (4-5 hours). Anything more than that I would question.

I was charged for five hours.

They quoted me 2400$ before we began and that's what I paid.

Sounds fair. Mine was $2100 which equated to 5 hours of labor after you subtract out the parts.

What leaf pack did you end up installing in order to remove the rear 1" block and to maintain the height? I am looking for some help. I have the factory lift as well on my 2020 TRD offroad. I currently have the 1" rear spacer installed on my truck. My issue is that I have added 600 lbs to the bed and now the rear is now sagging about 1.5". I was thinking of getting the Deaver Stage 3 leaf pack but you are saying that it won't work with rear TRD Bilstein shock? I want to remove the block and put a new leaf pack on but don't know what will work for my application. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

I used the OEM leaf pack but installed a Torch 1.5" -2" AAL from Amazon in it (See link below). I had installed the Sumo Springs previously, so those will deal with extra heavy loads.

Last time I measured the distance between the top of the Sumo Spring and the bump stops, it was a little over 2 inches. It may have settled to two inches now since I've installed and been using the truck with the AAL's.

Quick update on my install (did the 2” up front and icon AAL for 1.5” in the rear)

After about 500 miles I got rhythmic vibrations I could feel in the floor and through the gas pedal.

I installed the ECGS bushing and now it’s smooth as butter again. If I could do it over, I would have done the bushing from the beginning… but, that’s life!

Thanks for the help guys. I am in contemplating between 2 options.
Option 1 - I spoke to a technical guy at Deaver today and he recommended that I go with the stage 2 U402 deaver springs (400 - 600 lb rating). He said with my 600 lb load it should drop my truck a bit. So basically will remove 1" rear spacer and install 2" (above stock tacoma) leaf pack which will put me 1" above factory TRD lift height and then my weight will bring it down a bit. Only problem is he doesn't know exactly how much it will come down.

Option 2 - There are local shops in my area that specialize in leaf spring upgrades and will do an AAL and remove the 1" block. They say they can get my rear to the level I need and it's at half the price.

    Contemplating between both options.

No I didn't. This is the second dealership that has decided to not even return my calls anymore, even after getting a quote with a breakdown of labor and parts. I'm not going to hassle them if they clearly don't want to do business with me.
I'm just going to wait until my scheduled maintenance(different dealership) and ask about it then. Just hoping I still have the extra funds available.

Or Option 3 - Install the stage 2 U402 Deaver springs and leave the 1" rear spacer in place. Truck looks better with rake.

That sucks man. I wondering how hard it would be to adjust the lane departure sensors if needed along with the micro sonar. Looked like an attractive parts kit price since I do want the grill that comes with it. The 2 dealers I called weren't really helpful. They did quote it, but they didn't do it properly. It was 2200 to 2500 . I believe that 2500 price didn't even include an alignment

Can you tell me how much weight you put in the bed of your truck? Any sag with the Icon 1.5" AAL? I'm thinking of putting a Deaver F85 Mini pack AAL to help with my 600 lbs in the bed.

Not much weight kept in my bed on a regular basis. MAYBE 50 pounds all the time. Obviously no sagging with that low of weight. If you keep weight back there on a regular basis you would want to keep the overload leaf in vs taking it out to still get the advertised 1.5” of lift. The icon instructions go through this.

If you are keeping 600 pounds back there all the time then you need a full leaf pack. Don’t even think about an AAL helping out with that much weight!

    Good luck!
