Morimoto Xb Headlights Turning On

Hello,

I just had the Morimoto XB Headlights installed on my 2nd gen and was really pleased with their appearance and performance. However, there seems to be a minor issue. That randomly turn on when the car is off. I have it set so the Amber DRLs are constantly on while the car is on. Is there a way to change this setting? And will it stop the lights from turning on by itself? What can I do to fix this issue?

 

What fuse/circuit did the instructions state you use? Was it IFE No.2?

 

Don't use the fuse they tell you to use. The truck runs test occasionally and the drl will get power. I ran mine inside and tapped the washer fuse.

I have the same question regarding where to run the DRL power wire.

 

Use the INJ fuse tap

If u have led drls stock on your truck I don’t think you need the fuse tap giving by morimoto
