Thank you! We do lots of "backcountry camping" here in Canada, but are unsure of the rules across the border. I will check out those websites plus the BLM.gov. site to put our minds at ease.
Appreciate the input! Cant wait to visit!

 

Actually found a campsite in Colorado on Labor Day weekend.

 

Tooling around southern/coastal Oregon because California is closed right now.

 

Here's a few more of some random campings spots

 

Mammoth Cave National Park Campground, heavy usage campground. First attempt to camp with two cats went ok but limited our mobility some what. We live about 35 miles away so went there as a test for camping with cats. Crowded campground kept the cats on edge the whole time. We plan to backwoods camp at Land Between the Lakes in a couple weeks, find a remote spot away from crowds.

 

I take two black cats camping all over the western half of the U.S. and they love. They always stay at camp and are more well behaved than at home.

 

Another visit to the Green Ridge State Forest in the Potomac Highlands of MD. This time I stayed on site 19, did some trail riding and tested some new gear. ENJOY!

The wife and I were able to get away to Oceano Dunes in Pismo for 2 nights.

Day trip to our local favorite camping spot! Racehorse creek, Crowsnest Pass, Alberta C. So many options close to home. We are so lucky. Today we just did a day trip for some much needed mudding, trails, rivers, chow and fresh air. The day prior to this I installed Bilstein 5100's all around with ICON ADD 3 Leafs in the rear and 285/70/70 GENERAL GRABBER ATx. What a difference half decent suspension and better tires make.

 

He's a 1 1/2 year old Jack Russel Terrier named Snickers . He loves camping as much as I do. Starting Friday we have 10 day to explore the the east coast of the Big Lake ,,,,Superior .It has a great rugged coastline .
