Halo saved Hamilton's life , entertaining race , super happy for Danny Ric and McLaren , do not understand how the stewards could possibly fault Verstappen for the clash with Hamilton

Looks like Ham's head got pushed down by the tire a little. Wonder if he felt that or did he duck? So scary. Wonder if some top bar will be put on the Halo or would that prevent egress in case the driver had to escape quickly i.e. Grosjean.

When have the stewards ever been consistent and fair? We've all seen that when Hamilton is chasing the lead driver that whoever that is they should be mature and back off in the corners letting Hamilton by. When it's the other way around the chase driver needs to back off.

That's what i think. Maxx was pissed at the bad pit stop and got frustrated and was taking chances to gain positions back. To me, he came in to the corner too hot.

If the roles were reversed it would still be Max's fault for not letting Hamilton through. That's the issue.

Great race! My boy Bottas putting in work, finally. Also, very glad to see Ricciardo at the top of the podium and having Lando next to him was great.

Concur. That with all of LH's pre-race whining about it would be an "easy win for Max" sure seems like the "tactical foul" was in his camp and not Max's.
I do wish that Max had just waited and passed him later though! :)

That wouldn't happen which is why he went for it. In fact I think Lewis probably would've won the race had he not got taken out so in the end probably good for Max as is. He (Lewis) is the only one who could've passed the McLaren's on track? BS on the penalty though, seems to be no more racing incidents! Someone has to pay for every incident except for Lewis. Fine time for RB to screw up a pit stop! They should be good at Sochi? Great race though.

With his tires up to temp with LH just out of the pits, I think Max would have had a good shot at passing LH on that lap. We'll never know.

It's not like it takes a half lap for the tires to heat up in F1. But yea maybe if Max got a killer launch out of the chicane? The Mercs are so fast on the straights though. Have to wait till the next one. Lots of drama this year. Finally, almost like the old days except for all the penalties.
