    You know what they say:

Opinions are like assholes... if you would just shut up and quit screaming it wouldn't hurt so bad. Or something.

I will say - the Meso stage 1 tail lights are good. Brings the turn signal down to the reverse light in a switchback and makes it amber. Amber turn signal instead of red. Definitely the way to go. I hate the brake light turn signal shenanigans.

Agreed. I had them on my old 2019 TRDOR. Still don't understand why Toyota went from LED's on the 2G Taco to incandescent bulbs on the 3G. The MESO Stage 1 lights are necessary for 3rd Gens IMO.

Hell, you can drop a little more dough and get a sweet Helleberg or a hot tent if you're trying to stay in the woods in style, all while still coming in under the cost of an RTT.

My buddy has a dope 6 man tipi w/ portable wood burning stove he brings out elk hunting. Tent + stove was under $1k. Seriously the coolest thing I've seen. He says he's trying to honor our colonial forefathers with the setup lol

I used to love Walmart. Now it seems they are in it for the cheapest products with the highest margin, lowest commitment to employees, and to heck with old Sam’s motto of ‘Buy American’. Race to the bottom. The only time I go there now is when everything else is closed and I really really need something after hours.

Did I miss something, or am I just old and senile? My recollection was that Walmart *used* to have a policy of buying American first, if not always. But then again, Sam’s been gone for what, 20+ years?

my understanding was that all those walmart buy american campaigns have been mostly feel good propaganda for the americans who are one of their largest markets. (the usa is not walmarts biggest customer)

the tag on all the commodities purchased still says product from overseas....

either way, i agree with you lots of cheap junk there

    I washed my truck yesterday...

Judging by this thread, I probably shouldn't have.

Well, I guess it’s a heavy emphasis on ’if not always’.

Meijer > Walmart. Although it doesn't really matter if you're not in the Midwest. Meijer has more of a selection of things like windshield wipers than, say, AutoZone. The only time I haven't found what I've needed there was the air filter for my last truck because it was the only vehicle that seemed to use that style. Although, to be fair, I have always taken my Tacoma to the dealership while it has a warranty so I can't say I've looked too hard with my Tacoma.

    Just starting.
I got no problem with whatever people do to their rides. It's a fun hobby IMO, and frankly the more ridiculous, the more entertaining. Just got back from Hawaii and saw more than a couple 6-8" lifts, on tiny low profile tires.... Hilarious.

The only one I'm guilty of I've read is the window vent shades, which I just put on. Not for looks at all, but they are actually amazing. It's great to have fresh air circulating at high speeds or in the rain, when ordinarily I'd have my windows up.

The one "mod" I'm surprised more truck people don't do, is peel off the TRD/FX/Nismo/4x4 bed stickers. They are way too big, and just fugly IMO. Peeled mine off minutes after getting home from the dealer. But I have no problem with others leaving them on, just makes my truck cooler :D

The most popular mod is complaining about how your vehicle doesn’t perform like it did before you modified it.
Could it be the designers and engineers knew more about automotives than a shade tree mechanic.

Raptor lights... I don't understand how a Ford design became a Tacoma trend. All of these mid-sized trucks out here looking like miniature semis on the interstate.
