    From an insurance standpoint, given the age, almost assuredly.

    From a do-it-yourselfer standpoint, really really depends on how extensive the damage is.

    But from my understanding after an airbag deployment your bags themselves obviously have to be replaced and I believe the entire airbag wiring harness does as well and the labor involved to do that and the expense of the airbags alone will total the vehicle from an insurance standpoint.

    That's not to say that it couldn't be returned to a drivable vehicle again, depending on the damage.
