Snowmobile in bed of truck

Anyone have any pictures of a 155" inch tracked snowmobile in a 2012-2013 trd sport. I believe its a long bed 6". Just wondering if this is possible. The snowmobile will be a 2014 800 pro rmk 155"

As an avid sledder, I will ask you what your ski stance width is. It may not fit widthwise in your bed between the wheelwells.

My buddy rocks a 2014 Pro Rmk 163" in his 98 extended cab, so you will be just fine lol

Edit: It definitely doesn't fit between his wheel wells, he just throws it in sideways. If its too wide for yours, you can simply put it on top of a pallet in the bed. I have an 08 rmk 155" but I haven't tried sticking it in my bed, so I'm not sure if our beds are wider between the wheel wells then the older trucks.

 

Width is definitely the bigger issue. I have a '12 800 Switchback PRO-R, width is 48" and one ski has to ride on the wheel well. Sketchy the first time but I run 3 ratchet straps (2 in back and 1 up front) and it does not move. But watch the ski that is up because it does touch the window. The 136" track hangs over the tailgate by about 12".

 

Sounds like a wide ski stance for a 155" long track sled. Oughta be closer to 40".

My Skandic is nearly 11.5 feet long it has a 156" track no way it's going in the back of my truck that's why I have a trailer.

 

I have a 146" Summit, skis fit between the wheel wells. I cut two 8" strips from a sheet of 1/2" plywood and fastened EZ slides to the plywood full length of the 6' box and tailgate. Also took another piece of the plywood and cut it so it was as wide as the tailgate and also bridged into the box a foot, in order keep the damn flimsy POS tailgate from bending. Now I can at least haul the extra 550 lbs in the back of the Tacoma. Still ticks me off that the tailgate is not built stronger. Tacoma's are trucks by definition.
Oh yea, also added a set of Hellwig EZ550 helpers.

I don't have pics, but I used to put my 2009 rmk 700 in the bed of my 07 DC LB. Strap it in,tailgate down obviously. and then would pull the trailer with that had my other two friends sleds in it. This was out in Teton Valley Idaho. Now I have my 02 tundra out there for sled duty. Same set up Pulls up and down the passes that allow trailer traffic. Would love to put a flat bed on the Tundra and do away with the sled trailer completely.
