If you have a Bed Mat with the Bed Stiffeners have you trimmed the Bed Mat or have you mounted the Bed Stiffeners on top of the Bed Mat? Thank You Jim

I just let the mat sit on the stiffeners, I can hardly notice a difference.

Did it take a little bit for it to lay down smooth like that?

Nope, just installed the stiffeners and threw the mat in. That's the only pic I have off hand, I can get another that will show the overhang more tomorrow, but fwiw it doesn't bother me at all.

Ok. My Mat just arrived tonight and it's sticking straight up over the stiffeners. If it doesn't lay down I am going to have to do something that's why I asked the question.

If the mat is new, it might just take a while for it to loosen up. My bedmat is over a year old, so eventhough the stiffeners are new, the mat is probably limp from getting used for a while. I'll try to get a pic in the morning. It might also depend on the stiffeners you have. These ATH fab ones are pretty low profile, but others might be higher.

That's very possible. Mine aren't very low.

Park the truck in the sun (if it’s at least 80* outside) the mat will loosen up and lay flat. If not, it will lay flat eventually.

I think my bedmat folds up onto my bed stiffeners at each corner. Its flat between the stiffeners (across the back of the bed) but each corner flaps upward. Hasn't been an issue enough to make me think of cutting the bedmat or anything.
